Note: For ClearType to work effectively on your computer, ensure you have a video card and monitor that support a 256-colors setting.

• Go to the Start menu and type in ClearType in the Search box.
• Click on the Adjust ClearType text option in the results that will be displayed.

Alternately, you could:

• Right-click on the Desktop and select the Personalize option.
• Scroll down to Display in the dialog box.
• Click on the Adjust ClearType text option.

• If the box to turn on the application is not ‘checked’, check it.

This will turn the feature on and thereafter you should be able to read your Windows 7 screen conveniently. Should you at any point in time, wish to disable this feature, you can do it easily by un-checking the option you just checked. Simple, isn’t it?
