How to send an Audio Message?

To send an audio message you will need to –

  • Touch and hold the mic icon that is available on the right side of the screen.
  • Hold the mic icon until you are done with recording your voice message.
  • Release the mic icon as soon as you finish recording.
  • Now, either swipe up the upward arrow button (↑) or click on the send button to send your audio message.

If you feel that this is not the right audio note to send and you want to delete it, then swipe left to the ‘X’ icon. This action will delete your audio message.

How to send a Video Message?

To send a video message you will need to –

  • Touch and hold the camera icon that is available on the left side of the screen.
  • Now, click on the camera icon to share the saved video from your videos gallery.
  • If you want to record and send the video instantly, then click on the ‘Red dot like icon’ to record your video.
  • Click on the video to preview it before you send it to anyone.
  • Now, tap the upward arrow button (↑) to send the video message.

How to keep history of audio and video message?

When you send any audio or video message it generally tends to expire after two minutes of viewing. If you wish to save the sent audio and video messages to the attachments of your message history, then click on the ‘Keep’ option. ‘Keep’ option will be available below the audio and video message that you have sent. Clicking on ‘Keep’ will help you save the audio and video messages.

You can also change your Message setting for automatically saving every audio and video message. To change the message setting –

  • Go to Setting App.
  • Scroll down and click on Messages
  • Now, click on ‘Never’ for saving the audio or video messages.
